Beth's appreciation for design began in 1985 while renovating and furnishing homes for resale in New Canaan, Stratton and Nantucket. When the opportunity arose to create a home furnishings store with a cafe, Beth realized a lifelong dream through opening Good Food Good Things in Darien, CT in 2003. Her passion for home accessories combined with a warm, social experience made GFGT a resounding success. For Beth, discovering that one special piece for a client has always been the driving force behind her creative energy.
Claire's love of aesthetics began as a young woman in fashion with Ford Models and was later directed to interiors. While styling, designing and selling over twenty years with her brother Tucker Robbins, she developed a passion for indigenous cultures and the inspiration they bring to a room. In 2007, she joined the award winning firm Southport Design, and during that time she cultivated an appreciation for combining classic and organic perspectives in her work. Collaborating with clients, her goal is to reflect each family's personal style.
Identifying their clients' excitement around custom and original pieces, Beth and Claire established their design studio in Rowayton, CT offering a unique selection of furniture, home and lifestyle accessories sourced from their favorite furniture makers, antique centers and artisans.
